Tough loss for Markus Howard and Marquette. Eagles down 3 with time running out, Nova fouls them. Howard goes to the line, misses the first, intentionally misses 2nd, but threw it too high so it didn't hit the rim. They foul Nova immediately on the inbound, misses the first, hits the second. Howard brings the ball up an hits a buzzer beater 3, but they lose by 1.
I didn't catch the end of that game, thanks for recap. What an ending. Villanova really needed that to interrupt the recent backslide (albeit 3 L's vs. tourney teames). Could've been another big V for Marquette (which faces Creighton next).
Amusing to see rare seasons when a blue blood flounders.
I think I had NC in my preseason Final Four -- and also Florida. And MSU. I'm not looking too prescient at the moment.

He was really struggling to get out to the court. Seemed like a pretty drastic change from just a few years ago, which does happen but it was surprising.
Crazy ending to the Oregon-Arizona game. Arizona most likely drops out of the rankings with this loss.
