2018 Stock Prediction

Ford anyone ? 5 year low...

I used to own some shares but dumped them at $11. I'm not in love with their products so I couldn't justify hanging on to it.

I did make a very questionable gamble this morning and bought 2,500 shares of JCPenney. I know it may go down the toilet but they have a new CEO and with Sears closing it may help JCP. I'm planning to not even look at them until I either read how they've gone bankrupt or turned around. <wipes brow>

I'll add SSC to my predictions. It opened at $3.07 today. Over the past couple months they have announced a handful of deals. Chinese company in the blockchain space. Probably a better play for next year but with the revenue that the deals they have announced should provide, I could see it start uptrending pretty rapidly with their next quarterly earnings at the beginning of November.

I think I owe you a nice dinner.

"Fundamentally" there is no reason for what's happened to the market this last few weeks. But the unneeded uncertainty created by a certain person is roiling world markets. One of the issues now is that there is no longer tons of money sitting on the sidelines. This could last a while.

A lot of this uncertainly is with the upcoming election and the possibility of ousting Trump. That and it just got way ahead of itself, as is typical.

No saying you're wrong, but do you have data that a bunch of money has went into the market lately? I'd be surprised I guess, as I think there's still a lot on the sidelines.
