NFL: 2018 NFL Draft

Marvin McNutt is actually a pretty decent comparison to Lazard. Both have similar strengths and weaknesses IMO. Both high character guys too, but as we've seen, that means nothing in the NFL.

Character TOTALLY means something! It means a team can draft a rapist but never have to pay 1st round money.

My own thoughts are that ISU has been so bad in developing players that GMS laugh at any thought of Clones playing st next level! The last few regimes have been crap and guys who get paid for input are not going to touch B12 bottom dwellers!

A guy from Australia just got drafted. I’m not sure they are known for developing players...

And now Long Snappers are going. Ugghh.

Can't my Packers get a long snapper after the draft?

I can’t comprehend the meltdown that’s currently happening on this threat. We won a bowl game last year, and in the coming season were all projecting a possibility to rack up 10 wins. Iowa State football is currently in a better place than it’s ovvupied in quite a while.

Lazard not getting drafted yet sucks, but it has nothing to do with him going to Iowa State. Players go from FCS schools every year, and a rugby player just got drafted. The NFL draft is based to a reducilous degree on metrics, and especially in the late rounds teams are going to grab potentially best high ceiling guys.

Seems like a spot where somebody would grab Lanning. I mean, the guy played LB for 9 months and was an AA.

Didn't expect Lazard to go quite as high as maybe some thought he would but certainly didn't expect him to possibly go undrafted.

I agree. For landing it may be better to pick his team via the undrafted rout. I’ve seen him projected at a lot of different positions, so him finding the right team/ role/ position fit could make or break his NFL career.
