The twins are still hanging around. Everyone ahead of them in wildcard lost tonight.

Looking back, my goal for the year was to just have a puncher's chance. They still do. Need to go on a hot streak.

I guess I'd better just shut up and watch. Every time I think this team is about to tank, they rally again.......losing Sano and Buxton for periods of time hasn't helped the lineup, but I sure wish they'd kept Garcia and Kintzler.

The Twins have one of the more favorable schedules the rest of the way. Sweeping the Crew has got them right back in the hunt. For first in the Central, as Sano said.

They have a bunch against the Chi-sox coming up. Also a huge series against Cleveland this month. Need to get series wins and avoid the sweep.

Last nights loss was very disappointing, but they managed to get the win today. It's August 13th and the Twins are still in this thing.

Royce Lewis had a nice game in Cedar Rapids last night, was fun watching him. It was the first time in the history of the Kernels that the first overall pick from the First Year Player Draft has played for the Kernels. Dude is only 18 and doesn't even have a drivers license yet!

The Twins are still in it, and with this pitching staff that is simply amazing. 12-18 hits a game will do that. Joe even swung at a first pitch two nights ago. What is going on?

Nice to see Eddie recognized with Player of the Week honors. Kepler and Buxton are looking good of late as well. Would be great to see Grossman get hot along with them.

It's fun to see the Twins have one of the best hitters in the AL again. Eddie continues one of the hottest streaks in baseball.
I wonder what Rosario and the Twins have to do to even get a mention on the ESPN highlights.

My wife got tickets to the game vs. Detroit the last Saturday of the season for me as a gift. Fingers crossed that game still means something. Or maybe the wild card is already clinched so its a chance to rest the starters! One game at a time boys....

Right now they have 65 wins with 37 games to play. How many do you think it will take to get that wild card spot? Would a 20-17 finish/85 wins do it?
