I'll have to wait to see how far Jack falls before saying who the steal of the draft is. At some point, even if his knee falls apart in three years, those first 3 years of value will be more than 95% of this draft will produce.

Looking at who is out there, I'd love if Minnesota was able to snag someone like Su'a Cravens, Vonn Bell, or Cody Whitehair with their 2nd round pick.

Coleman and Fuller are smaller, speed guys, and Minnesota already has Diggs and Wright in that role. They needed a big, wide catch radius, red zone threat, chain mover. And Treadwell does that as well or better than any of the other WR prospects out there.

I like the fact that Treadwell is only 20 years old and going to be 21 in June. He was the #1 HS WR when he was being recruited to Ole Miss. IMO, he could develop physically even more as that is young. He seems to play fast enough on tape, kind of like Jerry Rice, who was approximately the same speed. And I like the fact that he likes to block and has faced a lot of press coverage. IMO, it was either Treadwell or Doctson that I wanted. Treadwell is more physical and blocks better so he may be a better fit for the Vikings.

Nope, the obvious answer is that Kansas City was obviously looking to trade down for picks. So if KC was looking to trade with another team (there was one rumored but I forget) that wanted the QB then they had to get ahead of KC, or trade with KC.

Which normally I think is a good idea, but in this situation, if Ragland is still on the board I think they should do what they can to move up and grab him.

I won't hold my breath though. Who is the next best ILB after Ragland?

It would be nice to see TT move up in the draft, but he never does it and he obviously has had success drafting so I will let him do his thing. As far as other options at ILB I saw that we could draft Scooby Wright (Arizona) 6'0 239 lbs. Another option would be Beniquez Brown out of Mississippi State. 6'1 229 lbs. I'd prefer Scooby because I remember him being a beast in college, however I know he had an injury not that long ago. Should be interesting to see how they address a big need of ILB!

Bleacher report had a funny reaction to the Packers pick.

Clark is a film junkie who anticipates the snap count, diagnoses blocking schemes and out-thinks his blockers. Those skills don’t translate as well to the NFL as you might expect: Pro blockers are less predictable and more likely to grind a lot of film themselves than guys in the Pac-12. Still, Clark should excel at the smaller tasks of defensive line play: sniffing out screens, cleaning up sacks after the quarterback is flushed from the pocket, and so on.
You can tell why the Packers like Clark: He's like a giant Ted Thompson. That said, there are many other defensive tackles on the board with higher upside than Clark."

Luckily, this can still happen today since Ragland wasn't picked yesterday. No reason for the Pack not to try to move up to early in the 2nd and try to still get Ragland.

If they can come away with a starting NG and a starting ILB out of this draft, that would be a big success IMO.

Ragland might be off their board. After he was flagged with an enlarged aorta on Wednesday, it's possible that the Packers and other teams have either dropped him way down their board or off it altogether. He and the other two high profile guys with medical concerns - Jack and Smith - could very well still be on the outside looking in after tonight. How many millions did Myles Jack cost himself by publicly admitting that microfracture surgery would be a possibility down the road? Stand up kid to admit it, but that had to have factored into his fall out of the first round.
