Also love who the Spurs got in the first round and I think the Warriors drafted really well as has been the norm recently.

How would you feel if your team desperately needs a PG and instead they draft two project centers? It's a badly needed divorce. The Kings are a mess and Cousins needs a fresh start. He might be a little crazy, but playing for an owner and GM with their heads firmly planted up their ***** certainly doesn't help.
Who was the person that said Malou would be drafted? Kid made a big mistake. But he will at least be making some money in europe for awhile.
I don't know if he ever would have been cleared to play in college though. So much BS to wade through. I wish the best for him.
Hawkeye fans at HN are doubling and tripling down on the rumor that Uthoff was contacted to be drafted in the 2nd round but declined because he did not want to be a draft & stash guy and instead wanted to try for a roster via FA.

PCHawkJU and FM shouting matches had nothing to do with it. The NBA often takes questionable character and JU isn't questionable as a person in comparison. What does stand out on JU is that he won't get mismatches on D from zone. NBA has tall men who can defend. JU won't be open with lack of speed much. There are enough quick guys who can shoot.
What does stick out about Fran is Woody's lack of development. Big men that are reasonably developed can make the NBA rosters. You just don't see 7 footers in NBA anymore that can't jump at all. The NBA is going speed/quick over size. He brings little to the NBA table to out stretch someone.
That said, we had a good run with these guys.

I don't think he had much of a choice, though. I could be wrong, but I thought it was looking increasingly unlikely that he would get good news from the NCAA so he went with Plan B, which was declaring for the draft and hiring an agent.
I'll be surprised if he doesn't land on a summer league roster. Whatever happens I hope he's able to make some money playing pro somewhere. I don't know the whole story but he's had some hard luck.

As they should. It's pretty clear he wants out, and they have plenty of centers to divvy up his minutes.
No way Uthoff could have been drafted by multiple teams but turned them down. One team i might be able to believe but still why wouldn't want to go to a team that wanted to pick you? He isn't going to play right away anyway next year.
But, but, don't you realize that he is just so good that he knew he would have a shot with any team he wanted? He's that good, definitely better than Georges and Abdel.
He's definitely talented, and he had some good work outs. But he showed he's not mentally tough in quite a few games. You should be able to lean on someone with that much talent and not have him buckle.
