That schedule is awful for season ticket holders. November home games are terrible for tailgating and just freezing your *** off. Gonna be a tough sell with that schedule.
How normal is it to only have 1 bye?
How normal is it to only have 1 bye?
With KSU, TTU and WVU coming to Ames and KU on the road. Bowling is a real possibility.
We also tend to get the 11am kickoffs late in the season, especially if Tech and WV aren't compelling national attention.
Looks like:
Sept. 3: UNI
Sept. 10: @ Iowa
Sept. 17: @ TCU
Sept. 24: San Jose State
Oct. 1: Baylor
Oct. 8: @ Oklahoma State
Oct. 15: @ Texas
--Oct. 22: Bye week--
Oct. 29: Kansas State
Nov. 3: Oklahoma (Thursday night game)
Nov. 12: @ Kansas
Nov. 19: Texas Tech
Nov. 26: West Virginia
Same as it "just happened" to come on the last Saturday this year. There are two, one just happens to be Dec 3.
Also, both an Oklahoma and a Texas team come to Jack in November.
5 day break between K-State and OU. Tough turn around
Too bad they play KU the Saturday before.
This is prob worst case honestly. WV in Ames late November? Give me ISU. @tcu and @tx both winnable IMO as is Iowa. TCU will lose a ton including Boykin and WR. They will always have a good team but they won't be anything near this year.
Home games only:
Sept. 3: UNI
Sept. 24: San Jose State
Oct. 1: Baylor
Oct. 29: Kansas State
Nov. 3: Oklahoma (Thursday night game)
Nov. 19: Texas Tech
Nov. 26: West Virginia
I agree, not the best slate for season tickets.
We always say Tech is winnable even though we haven't beat them in 4 years, and three of those games weren't even close.
