As of right now, I only know three guys we are after, though I'm sure we are after a lot more than that:
Tavian Pomlee: LA's little brother. 6'5" He plays guard during AAU, but sometimes plays post for D-Port Central. He is already big and strong, but his jump shot needs work
Rasham Saurez: Iowa City West: He's a 6'3" scorer, still kind of raw, but a definite big time player.
Chasson Randle: A point guard who started varsity for Rock Island as a freshman, he already is being heavily recruited by Illinois, Purdue, and ISU. Chasson is really big time, and will be rated really high when the 2011 ratings come out.

Hasn't Chasson already received an ISU offer? (Or, do you mean all three have offers, not only being recruited?) Seems like I recall that Chasson received an offer in the wake of the recent elite camp (you mentioned that, didn't you?). . . .

I'm not sure if Chasson has an offer, but he either has one, or is really, really close to getting one.

Chasson did receive an offer shortly following the Skills Camp in late June.

Many eight graders are now being recruited nationwide - get them while they are hot. Just ask Tim Floyd.

Hey, cyismydog, I see you're keeping your young nose to the recruiting trail (you're like a bloodhound, and all we fans here benefit!)

Just wondering how Coach Robinson is coming along, maybe you know something about that. Perhaps HH is one of his recruits?

Has coach had a chance to get to know the team pretty well yet, is he solidly integrated into ISU's recruiting efforts (does he know HB yet)? That sort of thing. What does your nose know? (grin)

Coach Robinson was a great steal. He has already helped us get in touch with a ton of quality recruits, most from the state of Illinois. The players like him, and he knows he will have to establish a solid relationship with HB to get him to come to ISU.

What do you think our chances are of stealing him from Iowa? I guess I'm assuming he's their's to lose.
I don't know much about his recruiting, but I do know this: he is originally from Puerto Rico, and just moved to IC a few years ago, so I don't think Iowa will have that built in advantage.

Then there's also the fact that Coach Lickliter seems not to care about talent and athleticism, instead now just taking guys who "fit his system".
