Anyone see the new 2011 football commercial narrated by Seneca Wallace. Goosebumps. Love it when the team/CPR joins him on the field. ISU marketing department is one of the best. I'm trying to find a link to it but no luck so far.

Marginal at best. Seneca is flat and the spot does nothing for me personally. From what I'm hearing it's pretty hit or miss with most people. Let's just hope it brings in the casual fans, as that's what it's aimed at doing. My bright spot was Paul's new beard.
I disagree with you on ISU's marketing department. They market like they are a team in a much lesser conference. The program is heading in an exciting direction. Their marketing team is not.

Eh nothing too awesome. I was hoping for more but whatever. Im hoping the intro right before the players walkout is way different and amazing.
I liked the commercial but I thought it would have been even better if when Seneca walks into the stands he walks up to a group of former greats (Troy Davis, Sage Rosenfels, Matt Blair, Ellis Hobbs etc...) and they all said "thats what makes us one".
I love this idea. You should have produced the commercial. Overall I like the commercial. Have Seneca there is awesome and seeing the clips of Troy running wild brings back memories of old.
I think ISU's marketing department for the AD is VERY creative and good at what they do. They are head and shoulders above EIUs efforts for sure.
Commercial is short and to the point. Seeing CPR revs me up more than Seneca, but love the fact Seneca took the time to come back and film to help promote ISU.

Looking at pictures from Media Days in Dallas, it looked like CPR shaved his beard. This would be very unfortunate, as I too liked the beard.
I thought the part when the team joined Seneca was kinda dumb. It was real brief and just seemed a bit awkward to me.
I like it, Seneca is very well spoken.
I emailed Pollard a few years ago when they did the" I chose ISU..." campaign with all the coaches. I told him he needed to do the same commercials, but with the likes of Seneca, Freddie, Fizer, etc... I forget exactly what he replied, but this is still cool.
