I paid 13.50 for a 25 oz Busch light at Busch stadium in St. Louis last weekend. What do those cost at Wells Fargo Arena? Thought it was about the same.

I was there 2 or 3 weekends ago for the Cubs series. Had some awesome food and a bunch of beers. If I'm going to a MLB game, I'm saving enough money in advance to blow in the stadium. I'm of the thought process that if I'm doing something cool like that I don't want to worry about dropping a few bones on beer.

Was shocked until I saw this was taking place in California.

Was at a Dodgers game in May...was like $15. It was for a family reunion so I went through with it to have a beer with people I never see.

That or being in some (actually) historic stadium that was being torn down or something would be a valid reason. I'm not even a Cubs fan, but if Wrigley were being town down, I'd put down some extra cash for a classic Old Style.

Myself in the cheap seats no. Luxury suits and corporate tab people won't blink an eye at it.

You guys are looking at this wrong.

The first question is whether you would pay $12 for a 20 ounce domestic(Bud, Miller Lite, etc) at the same park?

If yes, you'd be dumb to not pay $19.25 for a Hop Stoopid.

#1 It tastes a lot better

#2 Budweiser has 5% alcohol-Hop Stoopid has 8% alcohol

#3 In a 20oz poor of Bud, their is 1 ounce of alcohol. In a 22oz poor of Hop Stoopid, their is 1.76 ounces of alcohol.

#4 Per ounce of alcohol the Bud comes in at $12 per ounce. Per ounce of alcohol Hop Stoopid comes in at $10.93 per ounce

So in summary, the thrifty person would pay for the $20 Hop Stoopid.

I would just rather drink before or after the game. Beer is not important to enjoy a game while I am at the game. It is nice to have one, not at some crazy price though.

I'm amazed that a few posts earlier, it was described as "cool" to pay $20 bucks for a beer.
