No it's not that. It's the fact that he is selling an OTC stock short, and it doesn't see a current price and thus lists it at 0.00, making it look like he could buy-to-cover for nothing and make that much in the end. The stock actually does have a price though and it looks like he is up ~ $8K if he sells right now.

Wow, what a ride. Started the day way down at around $90K and made a bundle to finish back in 2nd. Glad this is play money or I'd never have the stones to make some of these wild rides day trading.
WTF, I was pretty stoked to see AAPL have the "Steve Jobs" bad news this morning. I figured everyone would over react and it would be cheap over the next few weeks, and I could start buying in (in game and real life). I guess it took roughly 4 hours this morning for the stock to bottom out and then get good enough news for it to be only down a couple percent right now.
haha. Yeah, I used his pick once out of the 40 trades I have made. Gotta know when to get in and out regardless of who picks em. Feel free to use his pick too..... if you dare.
Speaking of investing, it sounds like the replacement for Buffet could possibly be a resident of Des Moines.

So, how many people on here mirror real life buys with what they do in the game (not saying on the same scale, but same stocks)?
I picked two from my real life portfolio that I thought would do the best in the next two months.
Looks like my DEPO and KV buys are paying off...I own them in my real portfolio too, so its been a good month.
My strategy depends on my ability to check stocks shortly after the market opens, and then late morning. My work schedule hasn't been cooperating, so I haven't made any trades at all lately.
The most interesting part of this is seeing everyone's trades. I'm really not a trader -- more of a moderately/aggressive long-term investor. I have very few individual stocks in my portfolio -- mostly ETFs and mutual funds.
That said, I wish I would have had DEPO (and maybe MNTA) in my real portfolio the last few weeks.
So there is no way I trade leveraged ETFs on margin in real life. I've done well with ROM and DIG. But I kinda hit the wall the last few days.
