Well, I've been on the north side of Dallas this week for work. We got around an inch of sleet/snow Tuesday morning which shut down the whole metro area. It's been bitterly cold (for this area) since then, and the roads have stayed pretty icy. Snow day #2 came on Wednesday, with little change in conditions.
Yesterday, we went to work, but made the decision to call it off as it became obvious that working outside in the still-icy conditions was not worth the risk. Snow day #2.5
Last night it started snowing again. 1-3 inches of snow was forecast. As of now, about 5 inches has fallen and it is snow day #3.5 of the week and I'm under a winter storm warning. Might get another inch or so before the last of the snow moves out. Quite the storm in this area!
I know that other areas of Texas and the southeast are getting major amounts of snow/ice as well. Any Cyclone reports out there? Anyone else sitting at home because of the weather today?
