Seems like it's a open secret that Echemendia is around the program right now. I'd think it's pretty obvious he's going to have an opportunity to be on the team if his trial turns out in his favor...

Let’s say he is innocent. Didn’t this happen mid semester? Wonder how his grades are when they Ohio state tutors stopped helping him. Good thing he’s an athlete and there are different standards for athletes. The admissions process would be a nightmare. I like our other guys if it were up to me I wouldn’t waste my time on this kid but that’s just me. He had a golden goose opportunity to get into Ohio state university and get a degree from there and he wasted it. Some kid who worked his or her ass off didn’t get into Ohio state because they let this punk in.

If he wrestles for Iowa State it won’t be soon. Next season could be even optimistic.
