Good thing for KU that they came to Hilton in the middle of January, otherwise we probably would have swept them.

Good point, in '00 and '01 when ISU won the Big 12 it was KU sweeps that delivered it to us, not just stealing one at Phog and giving it back at Hilton.

Closer to the truth is that one or two teams need to sweep KU to dethrone them.

It also helps if there aren't fixed games like the recent year KSU won the conference outright but the officials fixed the legitimacy of the league so KU could share a fake title. Good thing about the distance you created this year is it minimizes that half court no dribble layup game winner.
