Missed on the Oklahoma PG this week.
Who else do they have a shot at? I'm sure the get something, but I guess I don't see them as invincible next year. Although I don't know that anyone else in the conference will be that awesome, maybe Baylor if Motley stays?
If Texas keeps stringing together good classes, I'll put my money on them.

Malik Hairston, transfer from Miss State, was a Top 10 recruit and will be a starter with Graham and Svi (if they stay).
Sam Cunliff, transfer from ASU, Top 50
Recruit, will be eligible at semester.
Marcus Garrett, Top 50 Recruit, big combo
guard.
Still on Duval, Top PG in class but looks
like Duke lean.
Still, not sure if everything fits together. Talents there but who knows how it fits together. Hairston and Cunliffe both had issues with wanting to be "the guy" at their last schools. Preston supposedly has
motor issues. Svi/Graham pro? Bragg off/on court underachieving?
We trust in Bill but losing the league will happen and next year looks as good as
Any.

As a KU fan, I would love it if we went back to the days of 24-32 teams in the tourney and only one team per conference making it. We would have a lot more ncaa titles and it would mean zero ncaa tourney APPEARANCES in the last 12 years for any other Big 12 team.And just for the fun of it:

Exactly. In modern day basketball where the distance between the the top tier and everyone else is minimal at best, KU's run is phenomenal. Even more so when you consider the league they've done it in.
Actually, you are incorrect in that statement. The conference tournament champion would represent the conference just like in all the mid-major conferences so KU would have a 1 year appearance streak going.

Is anyone actually making that comparison? If so, bad job outta them.
I've been saying for years that the ref's bias towards Kansas hurts them in the long run. I know refs seem to be a target here a lot, but most would agree that Kansas gets breaks that others don't seem to. And with that said, I also think Kansas is a helluva program with a great coach. But regular season games are called so differently for Kansas than they are in the tourney, that ultimately it hurts them and, imo, that's why they usually have an earlier exit from the tourney than they should. They just aren't as used to dealing with adverse situations from bad calls that other teams tend to be used to.
Yep. See the Fraschilla vs KU thread, and how they view the Villanova call from last year. Graham obviously fouled him, but they don't see it that way. It affects how they play.
Oky State has attracted good talent and I'm much more impressed with Underwood than Shaka. Huggy isn't going anywhere either. I'd put either them or Baylor ahead of Texas ,especially in the next year or two.
That said, I'm not picking anybody besides KU until somebody shows me they can knock them off.
Curious how it would have worked 4 years ago? Kansas State finished a game ahead of you in conference. Iowa State won the tournament. Kansas won nothing in conference that year...so they're the only NCAA worthy team.
