Talented but underachieving.

Zags will try and pound the ball inside all day long. There is really nothing we can do to stop them. If we collapse, the ball will get kicked out to our shooters. Our only hope is to have a good transition game and hit outside shots in the half court.
Interesting post found on Gonzaga's forum:
"I feel confident we win game one and hopefully, we play Florida (Big-5 school) and have success in that game too! In the C/G my gut tells me we will play an under rated Iowa State team that has tons of quickness, with lots of skill. ISU might well have the best PG in the nation as he very seldom turns it over and has tons of confidence playing big games. They are a lot like the SDSU team that beat us at home a few years ago...I am hoping our depth provides us with the needed advantage...

Gonzaga men's basketball forum here. They sound pretty cocky about their future win over ISU. I think that's good. Keep thinking like that.

Totally agree. The point of college athletics is to get these guys an education. I'm OK with rewarding guys that actually graduate.

"Iowa St has a 26 yr old guard who is like a more athletic Matt Bouldin. He's probably their best post player and point guard in one. They have size and they play FAST. Not nearly as long, rangy, strong as Florida, but they have athletes. "
Uhm...I don't even know what this means.

Didn't we only miss like, 3 all game today?
"Is this the real advo final? Is Florida that much better than Iowa State? Last year at end of season Iowa beat Iowa State (who imploded), and we trashed Iowa."
Iowa beat us last year? We imploded at the end of the season?
They must like to use the transitive property from different seasons for game predictions.
So I guess I'll play too. 2 years ago they only beat NDSU by 10 points. Last year, we beat NDSU by 20 points. ISU will win tomorrow by 10 points.
I think we win pulling away.Yeah, it's hard to put this together. The description reminds me of Kane or maybe Royce. But even though Kane was old, he wasn't 26 years old. On this year's team it seems that they are talking about Deonte. But who knows? They don't seem particularly knowledgeable.
As an aside, they are very confident. Our fans could take a lesson from them.
