Congrats to the wrestlers on their 30-10 win!

Thanks to all that have been a part of this program for the last 90 some years.

ISU is the first program to breach the 1000 dual win threshold.

Congrats boys and coach Jackson. You guys make us proud. You've earned all the admiration and respect you deserve out of this accomplishment!!!

You realize this year's team didn't win all 1000 of those meets right?

Yes!!!! Major kudos to Coach Jackson, all the coaches, and the team!!!

Let's finish the season strong!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Congrats to KJ and the boys. When it comes to team vs team, ISU leads that nation in wins. Something to be very proud of and let's make sure the squawks or Oky State never catch us.

This is a great accomplishment. Congrats to all the wrestlers and coaches, past and present.

Pretty amazing when you consider that ISU Men's Basketball started in 1908 and did not win it's 1000th game until 1999 under LE.....and they play a lot more basketball games in a season then there are dual wrestling meets.

Awesome!!!! What a program. You know this will only be a small article on the back page of the Sports Section in the Rag

About half the size of the articles they've done on Hawk dual matches this year. Pathetic:

ISU wrestling: Cyclones become first to reach 1,000 dual wins | desmoinesregister.com | The Des Moines Register

I kind of knew this would happen considering all the Super Bowl Coverage (does anyone else find it ironic that the DM Reg will send Keeler to cover the Super Bowl when Dan McCool is out of a job? I know. I know. It's not the same thing.)

Plus the meet was out of state.

HOPEFULLY, the powers that be at the Register will REALIZE what a tremendous accomplishment this was for the ISU program and does it up right in Tuesday's paper.

congrats to the wrestling team and to coach jackson on reaching the 1000 dual win mark from an old cyclone heavy weight.

Glad to see KJ as the coach who's name will be next to this accomplishment on the record book. Not to discount what anyone else has done for this program, but his passion for ISU really makes me happy he's the coach during this milestone.
