I actually think that Iowa defense was very, very good but when you're on the field for 40 minutes and the other team constantly gets the ball in plus territory because of turnovers and general ineptitude you're not going to hold up.
Tennessee had the pick 6 and a 2 yard drive for a touchdown. Giving up 383 yards an 21 points shouldn't feel like a blowout but because the offense is so abysmal it does. Michigan's two TDs were on a 5 yard drive and a 6 yard drive. Two of Penn State's scores were on a 39 yard drive and a 19 yard drive.
I have no idea why Phil Parker has the loyalty he does. He could go somewhere else, make the same or better money and get to play in the playoff consistently.
