    State Champs

    UNI has won 3 of its last 8 games against ISU, all in Ames. And had other extremely close games. Doesn't sound like a fluke to me. They would give Iowa serious trouble this year if they had the shot.

    other 1AA teams may request more money than UNI does, and we wont get near the crowd. The top two crowds in the history of Iowa State football are against UNI. That is HUGE money! We are already scheduled to play them in 2010, 2011, 2013, 2015

    UNI Fans

    As a UNI fan I would like to say that for the most part ISU fans were very good as well! Tailgating was great!!!! don't really understand the UNI sucks comments walking about but I think they were pretty drunk and not in the majority.

    UNI smoked 97-63 in Thailand....

    FYI, UNI/USA finished in 9th place with a 5-1 record and the only loss coming from the gold medal winners in their first international game. The format for these games is ridiculous a team actually finished above team USA with a 3-4 record.

    All NCAA schools are allowed to play in an overseas tournament in the summer once every 4 years. UNI hadn't played overseas since Australia 4 years ago so they were eligible. They still had to follow NCAA rules which restricted them to having only 10 practices before these games. The teams...

    Mckowen and Stout will be playing. They won't start however as they want to develope their starting line up for the upcoming season. They've had some guys banged up and if they play incoming freshman then they can't redshirt so they need the depth.
