I think so too. Even Toledo now looks like a very hard game. If Iowa plays like they did in the second half minus the fumble can beat anyone on the schedule. -

Ott is an All American caliber player, Tucker is a JC transfer. There is a huge difference. Not having Ott in the upcoming games is a much bigger deal. -

This year the linebackers are not the same as last year. There is a lot more speed. Bower got beat out, Alston graduated, Spearman transferred. Don't count on these guys being out of position. -

Running game....
Iowa is going to stuff what little there is of the cyclone running game. The cyclone offense will become one dimensional. That will play into the strength of the Iowa defense. Ott will be applying pressure all game long. It does not look good for the cyclone offense. -

Interesting Stat
I found it, the only 2 conference championships were in 1911 and 1912 Missouri Valley conference championships with Clyde Williams as head coach. It has only been 103 years. That is very interesting. -

You all do know that the clones have not won by more than 3 vs Iowa since 2005 right? If there is a blowout 2009 or 2010 style it will be Iowa on top. -

1-11 or 0-12, UNI is a toss up and they lose every other game. This will start with a demoralizing loss to Iowa. Those guys will be ready. They are not the least be afraid of playing in Ames. They have won 2 of the last 3 there. From there on out it's downhill for the clones. -

First off preseason sos rankings are meaningless. Only post season rankings matter and in that Iowa averages a harder schedule than ISU. Second Iowa State's strength of schedule is artificially inflated by ISU losing to most of the highly ranked teams where as Iowa beats a lot of highly ranked... -

As I have shown Iowa does beat highly rated teams often. Teams that are as good as or better than any of the teams on ISU's schedule. What trend down in the past 4 years for Iowa? Iowa won as many games in 2013/14 as they did in 2010/2011. They are holding steady and are posed for an uptick. Even in supposed down years for Iowa they win as many games that Iowa state does in their better years. -

ISU is not trending up. They have went from 6 wins, to 3 wins, to 2 wins. I expect that this trend will continue this year down to 1 or 0 wins with UNI being a toss up game.
