    Ignoring the polls, Indiana is WAY ahead of Texas Tech in todays BPI, Sagarin, KenPom, and the weekly Massey Composite. Who knows how much weight the committee gives any of these, including RPI.

    Good point that I over looked. Back to my initial question - at what seed level does the committee drop their effort to place teams locally? My guess is that 1 or 2 seeds are in pretty good shape, but anything lower than that falls off rapidly. I don't know.
