    just remember, prior to this game Park had a 43% completion rating... I'm hoping he's turned a corner and gotten his legs back under him (after all, he didn't play for a few years), but his first two games he was not shown to be a better passer than Lanning.

    SO PROUD!

    Texas beat down KState last week and beat Oklahoma the week before... they may be down, but they still have some power in them. It was a great win by the Cyclones.

    Lets say you're in a formation with 3 receivers and 2 running backs. Yes in any given play you could hand off the ball to either running back, you could zone read, you could throw the ball to one of three receivers or to the 2 running backs etc.... of course each of those 5 potential receivers...

    I don't think most of you care what Sam Richardson does at this point, you sound like Iowa fans for the last decade always calling for the backup when times are hard, just can't accept that there are 11 guys on the field and one of them Fd up a block.

    I admittedly skimmed the posts, so someone else might have pointed out that Seneca and Sage (who is my favorite QB at ISU of all time) did play in a much easier league. Big 12 North anyone? In the end it might be "all about the W's" but Sam has had to play every team, every year... not so much...

    Agreeing with SCNY here, if you listen to Jamie and Fred's interviews on Murph and Andy Jamie straight up says this occurred, and Fred agrees nothing would have kept him in Ames while refusing to discuss the full conversation as it was private.

    Possible, or Fred said I don't want to be quoted in this article because it's false, so this is off the record. Fred didn't comment one way or another on it, and Murphy didn't think to ask apparently.

    There are plenty of people who work for the program who aren't high profile... Could be a former grad assistant, or someone who tutored the team for all we know.
