    Electric Smoker

I pulled the trigger on a Traeger this year. So far I'm pretty happy with it. I kind of miss the char you get on hamburgers and may dig the Weber back out for doing those.

    Auto Detail recommendations

I just had Doug (TLC Auto Detail) do the wife's Chevy Equinox. Very impressed. Didn't miss anything. Car looks like new again. He was also able to arrange transportation back and forth to work for me since I live out of town. I'd highly recommend him to anyone.

    2014 Iowa Pheasant Season

I've noticed more "roadside" sightings of roosters this year than I have in the last 10 years combined. I'd have to agree with the DNR.

PODCAST: Hoiberg, Niang & Hogue join me from KC

Yes I did. It's like he slipped into PC mode for a moment and when the next question was asked, he fell back into Georges mode again. Not to worry though, if there's anything we've learned about CFH, it's his ability to get everyone on the same page.

Cyclones Fifth In Big 12 Preseason Poll

Just got this email from one of my hawk buddies. Hilarious if true. "I’m not saying this is true, just telling you what I heard. Ever since ISU hired Freddie, all the B12 coaches wives have had the hots for him, thus, creating hostility toward ISU from the other coaches and, therefore, you see...

    Seem fishy to anyone else?

From the NCAA Bylaws; Beginning fall 2007, the APR was based on four years of data for most institutions (i.e., 2003-04, 2004-05, 2005-06 and 2006-07). Every year thereafter, the most current year's data will be added and the oldest year of data will be removed, creating a four-year rolling...
