    Afternoon drivetime radio everywhere is a bunch of different 20-minute spurts, so its never going to be super heavy-hitting with game analysis. Its mid-day shows and podcasts that can get more in-depth about teams, plays, coaching styles, recruiting strategy, etc.

    The Downtown location is so much easier to get to from Kansas than the current Kauffman site. This is an awesome move for the Royals.

    Sometimes I wonder what a stadium could have looked like if the field was centered with State Gym (think how Gallagher-Iba is in the east endzone at OSU) with a horseshoe around the west/south/east sides. Helser Hall wouldn't be able to exist. The tailgate scene would be muccccccch different...

    The more that the entertainment district goes north and west, the more it can draw from the student population, and potentially a student-housing component, which would provide more consistent business during non-events.

    I've always thought that the entertainment district idea was best if done more north and west as possible. If they included some facets of it right at Lincoln Way and Beach, a larger student component (housing/restaurants/bars) could be incorporated for more consistent non-event business.
