    UNLV Comments

Casey Flair has no room to talk about personal fouls. That guy is the king of the PF. The staff must have threatened him to within an inch of his life because this season he seems to be under control, but the last two seasons...forget about it. He was good for at least two a game and ALWAYS...

    UNLV Comments

Sorry for getting back so late. Yes, I was at the game, but in the far corner away from the play. About as far as you can get, but I did Tivo the game and watched the hit on replay about a dozen times. My take: Not that big of a deal, and had he not got flagged 4 minutes before it's a non...

UNLV Fans Know how to lay it on thick

Yea they should, but as with everything money is driving the bus and the booze money they make off the 8,000 -10,000 fans that show up is worth the tarnished reputation. Sam Boyd Stadium is not owned or operated by UNLV; so they don't care about the reputation. They care about dollars...

    Dropped Balls

I was surprised at the number of balls that were dropped or over thrown. If half of those get caught it's a different game. I honestly think that was the difference in the game. Some of the ISU guys were flat wide open with an acre of green turf in front of them. The UNLV secondary is...

    UNLV Comments

To the original poster: There is not ONE fan of UNLV that would justify the actions of Sanford after the first ISU game. Not one. We've got no beef with ISU; we act like that for every game. I'm not justifying the actions UNLV fans, but to say it's because of Sanfords actions two years ago...

UNLV Fans Know how to lay it on thick

Let me chime in here. I tailgated before and after the game with 4 ISU folks and sat with them during the third quarter. I offer that because I was with both groups for most of the day. The cheap shot on Omar got the crowd going. Especially the students. Not that UNLV fans need much, we...

Why didn't Chizik demand a replay on the final play in OT???

He's is a douche, why wouldn't you? Him winning two games in a row is not going to erase the whole "leaving the field" thing in your guys' house. He's an embarrassment.

UNLV vs Iowa St. News and Notes

That's pretty funny. I forgot all about that movie. Sad thing is now everytime I here someone refer to him as the tank I'll be reminded. From those stats the turnover battle could be the deciding factor in this game. That's kinda obvious in most games , but here we have two teams on oppsite...

UNLV vs Iowa St. News and Notes

I thought you guys might be intersted in this. This is taken from Rebel-Net.com with a huge thanks for UNLV2001 who complies these stats for most of the season. Iowa St. leads the series 4-0, out scoring UNLV 134-62 in the 4 games. This will be the 2nd time in five games ISU will visit...

    ISU vs UNLV predictions

Frank "the Tank" Summers has a subpar first half with the Rebel O doing just enough to keep the game close. UNLV loses its 1st turnover of the year. At the half UNLV 10 ISU 13. As the night wears on the secondary of ISU becomes wary of wrapping up "the Tank" and he racks ups 85 yards on the...

    Greeting from a Rebel....

The UNLV basketball team has made a 3 point goal in every game since the 3 point line was introduced. Quite the streak; many fans find the streak annoying. I would rather lose the game than the streak; other disagree. I make it a point to defend the streak.

    Greeting from a Rebel....

Nothing wrong with the call and he looked like a complete baffoon. Total embarssment to both the school and its football program. It's been one of my biggest weapons in getting him released from his contract. I'm not a big Sanford guy.

    Greeting from a Rebel....

I'm sure those of you that are traveling are in last minute prep mode. I love a road trip (especially for sports), so I'm a little envious of your up coming trip. I'm noticing quite the ground swell in fan interest after the ASU game. I'm a rain or shine, 3 hour before the game tailgate...
