    No game thread ?

What did AD do to get 18 minutes? Stats seem fine, scored 21 last time out and now 18 minutes? Matchups?

    Recruiting?

She played on the Tasmanian national team - a country with a population of about 500k. She might be great, I don't know, but I can guarantee that most of the players on the Tasmanian national team aren't that good.

    Rest of the Season

I agree it's not really a part of the women's game, but I don't think it has anything at all to do with physical limitations. The most out of shape guy at the rec center can shoot a shoot fading away, it's not strength related. And like you said, not many male players shoot fadeaways anymore -...

Game Four of the Extended Holiday Weekend: ISU/OU WBB

I agree we need more penetration but I can't see how BF makes room for any penetration. Comparing Oklahomas offense to ISU is a stark contrast. ISU rarely get to play in transition, if it's not a fast break then it is a setplay with very little player movement or ball movement. So sure better...

Twister Sister Summary - a quickie...

I agree that we need to get the ball into the paint to create scoring opportunities near the rim and for kickouts. I just don't think the posts are up to it. Our posts will never be the type of players you can throw the ball to against opposing bigs and just figure they will score one on one...

    ***ISU WBB @ Vanderbilt***

Think this though. That reasoning means any criticism of one part of an organisation is the same as critizising every member of the organisation. So if one of the coaches was convicted of a violent crime, any criticism of that coach would somehow be a criticism of Nia Washington? Makes zero...

    ***ISU WBB @ Vanderbilt***

I love the team, and I will be rooting for them all year. We're still playing caveman basketball though. No one is critical of the players, I hear criticism directed at the coaches and I think they should be getting some heat. ISU has great potential for women's basketball and the program has...

    ***ISU WBB @ Vanderbilt***

Didn't have the chance to watch the game. But I will watch the next game and make a point out of keeping track of how many screens are set on offense. Burkhall and Kennedy-Hopoate, should be setting 2+ screens per trip down the floor. That's what big bodies are for. I'm impressed the team are...

I just think the game has passed BF by.

Twister Sister Summary - a quickie...

Honestly right now I think this team would perform better if the coaches stayed home and the players just played it by ear like a pickup game.

    ***ISU @ Drake***

So far everything is a slog offensively. There are few breaks or transition opportunities and once in the halfcourt there is not very much player, or ball, movement. We rarely get closeouts to attack or the defense scrambling.

    ***ISU vs CMU***

Probably because Fennelly is old and his preferred style of play is old. If that's not the reason why I would say it is because the team would probably be worse before it got better. Other than Durr and Carleton the other players aren't used to making decisions and would probably make a lot of...

Is there any way to see the UNI game online today?

    South Dakota vs Iowa State

I agree. I would guess AD is the best shotblocker after Scott and Burkhall. Wise has yet to impress on me. Johnson would get all of Washingtons minutes if it were up to me.

    UW-La Crosse @ ISU Exhibition
