    And how exactly do you have an agreement for an extension in hand? It is collusion to talk contract terms with a player that isn't under team control. Can you provide one example where a team has traded for an impending free agent and announced a contract extension shortly after the trade?

    Yeah, adding OSU and WSU would come back to bite the Big12 in the next contract cycle. There is a reason that the Pac couldn't get a contract this time and OSU and WSU are two of the reasons why. Adding them devalues the B12 as a whole.

    IMO, now that the Pac is more or less dead, Arizona's value has dropped, since part of their value was to help kill the conference. I still prefer Arizona to UConn, but the difference between the two seems pretty minor.
