Ryan Adams show @ CY Stephens Cancelled

Singer/Songwriter w/ a cult following. People that don't know who he is still recognize 2-3 of his songs instantly.

I don't think RA or RATM would have had any problem selling tix. What gives?

    ISU vs. Mizzou 1990 Brawl

Listening to this podcast taught me 2 things that I had never learned in 34 years of being a Cyclone fan- 1) The definition of the term "wedge buster" 2) Jim Walden's strategy was apparently to try to have the "best special teams in the country"

    Best Cyclone "Glue Guys"

Great podcast with Horton! Fun to hear him speak with gratitude about his 2 years as a cyclone and his love for Stevie Johnson. As for the “what counts as a glue guy” debate- it’s a combination of likability, hustle, and kind of sucking. So Chris Babb is too good, Naz is probably too...

Adam Haluska talks Eustachy and his transfer to that team to the east...

Seeing Haluska wearing that ugly black Hawk jersey was seriously like watching him turn into Darth Vader. Also, somewhat refreshing to hear him speak well of Larry, who he gives a lot of credit as a motivator and a recruiter.

    'Seneca Was In' tshirt

Yeah, the Moonlight Graham Show interview with Seneca is up in podcast places. I loved it.

    'Seneca Was In' tshirt

I see it as a bit of self-deprecating humor. Sounds about right for the frustrated, slightly clueless, and rabid fan that I am.

Nik Moser talks McCarney, Seneca, and Yelk's missed kick

Thanks for sharing, Wayne. Nik was a gentleman to share his time and I think it's a good listen for clone fans. His hurdling prowess also brings up the conversation of greatest cyclone 2 sport athletes. Here is my definitive top 5: 5. Nik Moser 4. Trever Ryen 3. Stevie Johnson 2. Gary Thompson...

Cyclone track great Lisa Uhl is awesome

Lamoni, if nothing else I think it's a shoe-in to say that Kiel and Lisa Uhl are the greatest track couple in Cyclone history. I would say that we should hire them if I didn't think they had higher career ambitions.

Cyclone track great Lisa Uhl is awesome

Clone83, thanks for sharing that anecdote about El Moutakakel. My dad tells stories about the baseball team doing workouts at State Gym. It's hard to believe now that those were the facilities being used by these athletes.

Cyclone track great Lisa Uhl is awesome

Shameless plug here for the latest episode of The Moonlight Graham Show. I know there isn't a lot of track buzz on this board, but Lisa Uhl (former Koll) gives a lot of credit to former Coach Ihmels for her quantum leap to olympic level greatness while at ISU.. She's also a hardcore cyclone fan...

Stinson talks Eustachy, Hoiberg, Rucker Park and The Tournament

Lamoni- yep, my brother Timmy did this interview and it has some gems for Cyclone fans of that era. Interesting that Stinson has stayed loyal to Eustachy and Wayne after all these years. Also, the part about the Bronx is fascinating. I took it that Stinson cautions his son against idealizing...
