    FYI for your trip to Helens - Johnston Ridge is closed right now. There was a landslide back in May about 1 mile before the observatory parking lot.

    I mostly like the game but the first several hours of it are infuriating, and the difficulty makes no sense. Basic enemies like bokoblins will do stupid amounts of damage, while some of the dungeon bosses are ridiculously easy. I went into my first dungeon boss fight expecting to get one-shotted...

    I'm not sure where you are getting this from, but ND is an R1 school. They are a major research institution, and brought in almost $244 million in FY22: https://research.nd.edu/about/facts-figures/ For comparison, ISU brought in a little over $284 million in FY22...

    Federal government has a program like this for their employees. They will give you a subsidy to offset bicycle maintenance, and I think they may even give you money towards purchase of a bicycle. But, I can't recall all the details... I live too far away from my workplace, it's 100+ degrees here...

    The exact same thing happened to me. I figured the letter must have been floating around in the mail for a while, but it was dated about 3 days prior to when I received it.

    I haven't followed SpaceX too closely, but I think they gave up on recovering the second stage several years ago.

    I'm a federal employee and work in a lab. They relaxed a bunch of teleworking rules, so I have been working from home all week. Fortunately I had a bunch of reports that needed writing, so timing has been good in that respect. That will eventually have to end because I will have lab work piling...
