The Advice on Kids thread got me wondering.

So many of us are quick to give advice, or judge parents, but how many of us actually have kids or work with kids on a regular basis?

I have just the one I've been babbling on about. 10 years old- a few days away from 11. I'm happy to give advice, but I try not to be too judgemental. My son is a great kid, but there's been those moments in public where you would have thought he was raised by wolves.

I don't actually have a clear answer, so I'm abstaining!! :wink: Maybe I should add an option for "one in the oven."

It's always good to hear it's just not your kid. Sometimes I contemplate just leaving my son at the store, nobody would want to take him when he's acting like that anyways so he should be safe.

Kids are awesome and life changing by the way. How do I know? Who else in the world could hand you a booger, and you would actually take it? That's unconditional love right there.
