Stormers v. Talons roll call

Not to steal the thunder from Broodwhich's thread, but I was just curious as to how many people plan on making the game saturday. Hopefully it isn't raining, as I'm looking forward to some tailgating action! I really like Barnstormers games, as they help satisfy my football fix between now and late August. Also, do you wear ISU or Stormers apparel? Last year I wore ISU clothes at games, but I'll pry break down sometime this week and get a Stormers shirt. Should be a good time!

Iowa Barnstormers, AFL2. They're playing the Tulsa Talons. It's the home opener.

HOLLA! I am a season ticket holder and I will be tailgating at 4 PM in the lot immediately north of WFA with CarolinaCy. All CycloneFanatics and ISU fans are welcome to stop over and bask in the hospitality.

As we get older, remember to ease your way in to college football tailgating season. We don't want any to hop in to Cyclone Football season without being properly prepared by conditioning in spring-tailgating-season.

I always try to wear Barnstormers apparel at games, but my brother who sits next to me likes to wear his ISU stuff to offset the large number of tiger-hawk clad fans in our section. I have always bitched about Hawkeye fans who wear their clothing to events that have nothing to do with Iowa, so I try to practice what I preach.

Is that the hotel parking lot? Parked there a couple of times last year, and noticed a big RV w/State plates tailgating. We went over the official tailgate (hadn't brought our own booze ), and had an ok time, but I much prefer regular tailgating. That was probably you guys...

We usually tailgate in the lot on 5th Avenue just off of 235. It's the one where you have to pay $6 to park, but we like the proximity to the game and prefer to bring our own "provisions" instead of paying out the wazoo at the Official one.

We usually set up camp immediately across 3rd St and the hotel in the first row of spots behind the fee collection booths.
