I know Bears haven't really done anything in free agency this year, just got inside info from cousin of Ken Lucas that he is going to be a Bear just has to get contract sorted out. Also an unnamed DE was brought in and is also looking like he is going to sign as well. He couldn't give me the name of DE but i'm hoping its Peppers or Jason Taylor. No word on Orlando Pace yet.

I have also heard that they may re-sign Ian Scott who they lost in free agency a couple years ago.
Orlando Pace and Ken Lucas were both at Halas Hall yesterday visiting. I wouldn't be surprised if one or both signed here before the week is done.
I was too but I think it was time. He was jinxed with injuries every year and needed a fresh start. I doubt it was an ugly conversation.
fwiw....I know the Bears rarely do anything in free agency and JA has always said as much. They should be moving on Cutler.

It's hard not to feel bad for Mike Brown. When he was healthy, he was one of the better safties in the league. He just wasn't healthy that often.
