The Sisters have had their pre-game meal, and they are at the arena.

It's time to get this started.

Let's go Sisters!!!

I'm having my pre-game snack now. This is different than my pre-pre-game meal, and different than my in-game snack.

Anyways, here is game info (thanks jaretac!!)

Who: No. 17/19 Iowa State (4 seed) vs. Michigan State (9 seed)
When: Saturday, March 28, 2009 • 8 p.m. (Central)
Where: Berkeley, Calif. • Haas Pavilion (11,877)
Live Stats: Live stats will be available at ncaasports.com
Radio: Cyclone Radio Network/Learfield: Rich Fellingham (pxp); Molly Parrott (color)
TV: ESPN: Dave Pasch (pxp); Mary Murphy (color); Todd Harris (Sideline)
Webcast: ESPN360.com, Channel Surfing

Is anyone else really excited for the women's game? I think that sums up ISU sports when I'm excited for a women's game this time of the year. And that isn't a knock on the women. I'm thankful that I have something to watch this week.

How are we gonna beat Dehaan. Anybody?

If they lay off us, shoot the 3.

If they guard the 3 line, then penetrate and dish.

When we are on defense, it would not surprise me if BF has a couple tricks up his sleeve (remember, his coaching brethren talk about his willingness to bring out any junk defense if it has a chance of working - think box and 1 or triangle and 2).

Okay. I had never seen her play. I just heard that she was 6'9 and our tallest player is 6'3.

Dehaan is really really skinny.

She's not an offensive force (~10pts a game) and not a great rebounder (around 6 a game), but she is a very very good shot blocker.

I don't think that bothers us to much because we don't score many points around the rim. It may cut down on Nikki's offensive production, though.

The newspaper's made her sound like a 6'9 Candance Parker or something.

I disagree. Wieben could have her career night. Dehaan wont come out. Wieben 48% from 3 could have a field day. Most of Wieben points are on screen cuts. Dehaan is not that mobile.. easy to screen.
