If you are complaining, you're not a fan

Since there is no neg rep, and who cares if there was, if you find yourself complaining about coaching or the talent level of the current team then you are not a fan. It's simple why too.

Regardless if you agree with the decisions made during the game or not, or who has been brought in as coach we are not going to fire Mac. Simple as that, we cannot afford to fire another coach and will not do so. The economic downturn our country if facing right now plus the turnover of the football coachin staff there isn't a nickle in the pot to get rid of a coach.

So stop the complaining and focus on rooting your school win or lose! You don't have to support the coach, but ******** about him will get you nowhere. The only person who could complain is a man willing to pay for the change.

So go ahead and rip on. I would think more could be said after a win or loss at this point in the season.

I hate when things get put into perspective and make sense. :(
 
Oops mods you can merge this with the post game, it actually touched on the financial aspect of people complaining which was this threads point.
 
So we're supposed to sit here, sugar coat everything, think things are just great, think "Coach" Mac is awesome, and accept a second straight season with no wins on the road in conference?? Sorry, but the Big 12 isn't great this season. There's no reason to lose in Boulder this season. Most these games on the road haven't been close in the end.
 
I agree people need to relax and stop dissing McD every chance they get, but I think fans have the right to gripe a little bit especially when things are going like they are.

Please show me how easy it has been for us to win at Boulder historically.

We suck whenever we play at CU. Why this year should be any different is beyond me.

True but not even being close in any of the other road conf games is pretty hard to take.
 
This is the point. Unless you can walk into JP's office tomorrow and show him a checking account with the $2 million in it needed to buyout Mac and enough left over to entice a big name coach that can come in and bring a couple of Micky D's all-americans with him, the result will be worse than it will be with Mac. Complain about the game, a missed shot or turnover, but the incessant fire this person or that person is futile BS.
 
Can't complain about the economy or you're unpatriotic right?
Can't complain when your company is losing money or you're not loyal right?

What. A. Joke. This is what fans do, they talk after wins and losses. They rejoice when the team wins and they complain when the team loses. And if a team loses consistently for a decent period of time, the coach takes criticism. Nothing wrong with any of it. Get paid big $$, expect to be criticised when things do not go well.

Lighten up Boss. It's a message board. Some people have a different opinion than you and would like to voice it. Get over yourself.

This reminds me of the bickering that went on just a few short years ago with another Mac. People defended him including me and other bitched about wanting him fired and then some people came back with ridiculous statements like if you say negative things about the football program that you are not a real fan. I guess this would be called the circle of fan life!
 
So... Since I'm not a fan anymore, there goes my season tickets, my donations into the athletic office, and the money I spend for clothing.

They don't need it anyway since I'm not a fan... If people aren't complaining then Apathy settles in and people just don't care. They won't spend that money, and we will be even more in the whole.. Since we are talking about finance here....

So.. Since I spend money, I think that gives me a right to at least complain. Otherwise, why should I give them my hard earned money if then won't put the effort in to win?? I need money just as bad as ISU athletics, but I still give.
