This is true. Brenly and Kasper took a bit to get used to, but Brenly is pretty solid, and Kasper is about a gazillion times better an announcer than Chirp was.

Please. Chip Caray is terrible. If anyone can ruin a great moment, it's Chip Caray, because he NEVER stops talking. There are certain points in the game where you just shut your mouth and let the images and the crowd do the talking for you. Chip has no idea when these moments happen.
