Cutler to Vikes???

I would love it too, poor Tavarias. I wish he wasnt such a bust, he gave me a lot of hope in the Arizona game this year.

that would be very sweet. You'd have to think there would be a 3rd team involved though.

Childress really threw Jackson to the wolves far too early in his career. There was no way he was ready to be an NFL quarterback when Childress named him the starter. I can't say whether or not T Jack would have ever been more than he is, but it would have been nice if he could have had a few years with a clipboard and a proven veteran to observe.

I would trade almost anyone to get this Cutler deal done! Anyone besides AP and BB would be fine with me....and it would have to be someone with a big contract because the vikes have been spending a lot of money...Please say it is so!

I would hate for Sage to get screwed over like that after just getting into a positive situation.

Wow.....I really don't know what to think about this whole mess. I'm 1st and foremost a Broncos fan, but have also become a Vikings fan by association (wife & her family) & b/c I live in the TC area. Then you throw in Sage to the mix who is a cyclone and I'm all flustered.

I want the best for the Broncos, Vikings & Sage.......so I guess I would prefer the following to happen:
-Broncos keep Cutler and McDaniels shows him the respect he deserves. If McDaniels gets rid of JC, I'm going to be pretty p.o.'d and most Denver fans will likely turn on him before the season even starts.
-Sage wins the starting spot and takes the Vikes to the playoffs - hopefully a Super Bowl. If the Vikes end up bringing in Cutler, that really sucks for Sage and there's really no way he's going to get his shot as expected b/c the Vikes will have to give up a lot to get Cutler (just like the Texans did for Schaub) and Cutler is just that good anyway.

Why do I have a feeling none of this will play out how I want it to?

Edit: Adding one more thought.....if Cutler goes to the Vikes, will Sage go to the Broncos? I'd still feel for Sage if this happened b/c I know he wanted to play closer to home, but I'd still think it'd be better than playing for the Texans.

Cutler is not popular in Denver.

According to who? The guy just went to a Pro Bowl for the Broncos and has been one of the only bright spots for the team the last few years. All the Denver fans I know love this guy and the potential he brings to take them back to the top.

I am not going to lie, this proposed interest in Cutler has me very interested. Just as long as we don't give up everything but the kitchen sink like we did when we traded for Herschel Walker.

Cutler is VERY popular in Denver. The people here eat, drink and bathe Broncos football.

Shipping Cutler out of Denver would be bad. Like crossing the streams bad.

Agreed, and kudos for a Ghostbusters reference. Cutler, more so than any other player on the team, is the Franchise. I could see him doing big things, I just hope it's in Denver.

Cutler is liked by the fans. The new coaches offense is predicated on timing not having a powerful arm. It's going to be very interesting seeing if Denver can mend the fences with Cutler or not.

Never going to happen unless minny is going to give up the farm. Teams don't just trade away 24 year old pro-bowl qb's on their first contract even if they are unhappy. Cutler just found out that this is still a business plain and simple, and once his contract is up he will be free to go if he chooses.

The Broncos just said they are 100% not trading Cutler. Shame as I would of loved to see him in a vikes jersey, but frankly this never should have come this far. The Broncos or crazy to think about trading their QB of the future.
