Craig Brackins in town

Brackins was a heralded Cyclone recruit when Cyclone basketball was in a dark place. Please refresh my memory. Greg McDermott helm Era?
At the time, I think he was like the 2nd highest rated ever after Fizer. Top 50 guy for sure. I'd say he lived up to his ranking. He was a stud and became a 1st round pick. We just sucked the whole time he was here.

Totally agree. Pretty sure he dropped 40 or more on Kansas too. That was when we had Diante Garrett and pretty much no one else. Huluska was supposed to be a stud, and yeah... we sucked.

Last 3 years of McD. Turned pro when Fred took the job, which was probably the right idea, but picturing him on Fred's first team is always a good time. Probably a tourney team if he stayed.

Also the McDremott era that when we were supposed to be so giddy to have Chris Colvin remember?? He was supposed to walk on water while in Cardinal & Gold.

I’ll never forget the game he put up 42 on KU. They couldn’t do a thing to stop him and yet the Clones still were lucky to keep it around 20

We’re probably lucky to have him as long as we had him. He could have (and probably should have) left a year earlier.

But if he hadn’t stuck around we wouldn’t have had the false hope 09-10 season. Can’t put a price on those memories

Kind of funny though how that year somehow contains one of our 5 ever road wins against a top 5 team.. and then we couldnt beat anyone else other than NU\CU in conference.
