Striping

Pollard needs to change the official pee yellow we have now and go like 2 or 3 shades darker to actually be gold. So our players and fans actually want to wear gold attire.
Whoever decided in 2007 or whatever to go with the pale yellow needs to be fired
If you are peeing that yellow either drink more water or stop the amino acid pills.

This year is the first that I remember our crowd really nailing these "color Hilton" games so far. Been impressed, a lot more participation than in the past.

I have doubts about the "stripe" game, that will most likely be a mess and should probably be done away with.

I hate wearing gold but still do it. Not looking for an award for that just saying that there are probably fans at Creighton that prefer wearing a certain color and they still seemed to have worn the right color tonight.

We also had a bunch of people not wear white for the KU game… They aren’t bad fans, I just don’t get how so many other schools can pull this type of thing off and we can’t…
I don't get why they all have to wear the exact same color shirt. Just be loud and crazy. Just try not to wear the opponents colors

Exaclty. WHo gives a rip if we look coordinated on TV. What I want to see on TV is the crowd going so crazy the other team chokes. That is what we are known for, not dressing the same. I actually think its a stupid thing .

Well, the sports interns need to have something to put on their resume. Obviously, handing basketballs to the bank shot shooters one at a time every 10 seconds or so doesn't qualify.

Sure, but those aren't great quality shirts. I mean they do the job if you're just looking to go to a color game, but we don't have near as many good gold options as we do in cardinal/white/black. Especially so for outer wear in our cold climate.

I play along and wear the color that's necessary cause it's still pretty easy to do, just saying.
I was led to believe they are cheap and high quality

providing every seat with a shirt or pom pom will help with aesthetics of a stripe out

Something ISU does not do

But then you have 2500 people who are too big for the size L shirt they provide and 500 women who refuse to wear a shirt that is any bigger than a S.

I swear we go out of our way looking for a reason to make things like this not work.

It is stupid, but I know many people (including myself) that despise wearing gold (Most of our merch is bright yellow that looks awful). I purchased a tshirt/sweatshirt for the gold rules games (More of the old school gold), but only wear it for that purpose. They don't see the light of day outside of those games.

It also doesn't help when the image saying to stripe makes it confusing (to me) whether to wear cardinal or gold (Maybe I'm stupid but do you wear cardinal in the gold background section or gold based on the text at the bottom):

Yeah, that "key" doesn't help to clarify. Or maybe it does. Hard to tell.

That qualifies. Its just that you need to have more than one item listed under "Major Accomplishments".
