Next door neighbors are from India and bring over food from time to time. I never remember what it is, but it's very good! Neighbors across the street are from Kenya and have brought over mandazi.

Because when I think high quality Thai, I think Pella.

(That looks delicious)

It was good, but they didn't use a "real" baguette (like the ones we had at a Vietnamese food shop in Christchurch, New Zealand). Their spring rolls were good, too. Did not try the pho, but would go back for it.

Chocolate "cake" at the Lakeside Grille, Thousand Hills State Park, Kirksville, MO (this is chocolate mousse on top of a chocolate shortbread cookie) and finished with a hard-shell ganache. Surprise ending to a pretty standard menu. (Aug 2023)

Authentic ramen not far from the Giant Buddha near Yokosuka, Japan. Can't remember the name of the place, but tiny...so, if you're lucky to get a table, go for it! Oishi!

FIFY Many times it is chef's choice.
Oh yeah, it was a real cornucopia of animal parts I’d never eaten and will likely not try again. Pig ear cartilage, even thinly cut, is not as tasty as it sounds…

The place was a real neighborhood joint. Amazing experience.

I pity that hotel toilet the morning after.
