Cyclones have a shot at him?

Last I had heard, which was a while ago granted (like “last year” awhile ago), he was pretty set on playing football.

Even if he does decide to wrestle though, he is from Ft Dodge. We haven’t had a lot of luck there.

Things change of course, so we’ll have to see. I’ve never seen him play football, but he is an amazing talent on the mat, so I’m sure he’s a stud on the gridiron too.

I've seen that he's posted recruiting photos before in ISU singlets. Going for 2nd title tomorrow.

Anyone have a detailed schedule for tomorrow? I didn’t look very hard but all I could find on the IHSAA website was that the session starts at 9. We’re thinking about going down to Des Moines and watching for part of the day

Announcers on Mat 4 of 1A I think are crying anytime someone beats Don Bosco. Every match Don Bosco in they only talk about the DB wrestler and actually they have back handed insulted the other wrestler at times.

It’s an awful cult. Lots of similarities to Hawk culture.

That's a pretty big upset! Up 5-0 after two, got taken down, turned twice and riden out.

Interesting way to lose when you've very publicly stated your goal was to pin your way to title number four.

Was almost put in a Saturday night ride by the other wrestler. He just didn’t have baby max fully stretched out or he would have been stuck.

It's going to be rolling pretty quickly with no break in the morning.

9:00 - Class 2A, 3A, 1A consolation semifinals & finals (6 mats)
*Consolation semifinal matches (will be wrestled to completion with no break between classes)
*7th place, all classes
*5th place, all classes
*3rd place, all classes
Estimated session end: 2:15

I don’t think anyone has mentioned ISU signee Gabe Carver from Urbandale in the 165 3a finals

Magayna vs Ross would have been a great 3A 175 final, but the kid from Carlisle might give him a match too.

By far the two wrestlers I have been most impressed with are Dreshaun Ross and Herrera.

It did look like Kane Naak was grimacing from his shoulder after his semifinal W.

I haven’t got to see one of Pearson of Knights matches yet.

Jake Knights re-attacks vs Ayala were filthy. I can't wait to see him vs Pearson. I hope ISU can get both Pearson and Knight.

Ayala was gifted a takedown in his match against Knight also, so the 12-6 score was closer than the match really was. Knight did look really good.
