Bracketology 2024

You can slice it and dice it a number of different ways but the number two team in the conference will get a little extra boost to their resume. The committee has shown for several years now that they value our conference strength.

Freddie's Huskers currently an 11 and one of the last 4 byes. They have a very soft schedule the rest of the way with no more Quad 1 opportunities. 3 Q1 wins on the year. I'm thinking they can't afford to lose more than a couple the rest of the way. I hope he gets them in!

they can be the 11 to our 2 and we can piss pound them in round 2 if they get there.

#2 bracket maker in the bracket matrix and has been doing this for over 10 years, unlike many in the top of the rankings..

IMO, the ideal set-up is a 2/3 seed in the Mid West, with Omaha as the site..
Followed by 2/3 in the South, then West, then East..

I want NO part of UCONN and don't fear any other team

Lot's of basketball remaining, but I would be happy with a 2 or 3 seed. I love seeds that are on the bottom half of the bracket.

UCONN in the East would be an absolutely terrible draw. At that point I would prefer to be a 3 in the Midwest region.

I'd take that in a heartbeat. Bama is a great offensive team, but Tennesse and Auburn have both shoved them into a locker. FAU could get by them too
I’d prefer to avoid Bama. They’ve taken over 700 threes on the year and shooting over 38% on the season. Basically a better version of Virginia Tech and BYU

I could get behind this draw!

Before we've gotten this hot streak and into the 2/3 seed discussion, I wanted a 4 seed vs Cornell with the 5 seed Bama in Indianapolis in the Midwest where we kicked Purdue's ass in Detroit and then it's all gravy from elite 8 on.

Kansas stoll a 2 is a joke

It IS a joke... but it's also where CBS and ESPN continue to place them... ahead of ISU who's still at a 3. And if the reveal on Saturday is a CBS projection and not an official committee projection, then that's how it's going to shake out when the top 16 team projections are revealed.

Agre. Playing UCONN in the northeast is a death trap for anyone.
