This is a total long shot but I'm desperate :)

I bought a Mellif (DeWalt 20v battery) snow shovel. It arrived missing a crucial part that connects the handle to the shaft. I contacted them via the Mellif website chat and they told me they'd just send a whole new shovel. Well, that was 3 weeks ago and now nobody will respond and everyone online says the product is "out of stock." I really don't need a whole new shovel, I just need this part. Anyone have any idea on where I could get something like this that could serve the same purpose?

TOP PHOTO = The part I'm missing (in black circle).
BOTTOM PHOTO = What I received with no way to attach.

Thanks in advance!

I have this clamp sitting on my toolbox at work. I think it came from a power steering line. If that would work I'd be happy to find a way to get it to you.

3.5 inches (I think!).
The diameter is definitely not 3.5 inches. Looks like maybe an inch in that photo.
So you are looking for the clip that attaches the handle to the tube, correct? Might be able to find something at Home Depot in the plumbing or electrical department for holding pipes or conduit.

Duh, circumference is 3 1/8". My bad. Diameter is 1-inch.

This is the greatest website on earth, man. Do you think that would work with a 1-inch diameter shaft? Let's do this. I'll run to the hardware store today and if I can't find anything, hit you up and we can find a way for me to buy that from you. Thanks!

A conduit hanger should work, only a few bucks for one, they come in several different sizes

I would think the plumping or electrical aisle in any hardware store would have some type of pipe/conduit hold down or bracket you could use to adapt to do what you need.
Good idea. I'll run over to Menards at lunch and check it out. Thank you!

Fully closed it measures 1 3/16 inch. It may be a little loose but it could be squeezed down or put a piece of rubber around the tube to take up the slack. If you can't find anything let me know we'll work it out.
