I had a feeling about this season before it started. Then Texas A&M killed my confidence. Glad they've responded so well to those two losses.

I think it shows just how important having an extra big guy is. BRE wasn't getting as much rest and had to do a lot more those games.

I actually like Jess. He's always been very complimentary of ISU when he's been on the radio. I think he's actually a pretty good analyst. Admittedly I didn't listen to him in this game so I don't know how he was tonight.

I thought he was good. Complimentary, knowledgeable and did his homework. That's all you can ask.

ISU was supposed to start 3-6 in conference if things went well and then the back end would be much easier.

The first one didn't happen and the second one doesn't appear so either haha. Each game feels like a new hornets' nest.

I get the feeling at his size and the way he plays he's always dinged up to some degree. Williams has said several times he was pretty much hurt all last year.

I have to say, I think we have the best set of 3 guards I have seen so far in college basketball. Lipsey, Gilbert and Jones are just playing OUTSTANDING basketball. I know our bigs are playing tremendous def and playing really unselfish, but those 3 guards man....they are getting it done! All three are ++ defenders and all 3 can get a tough bucket. It puts a lot of pressure on opposing backcourts. It could be the key to a DEEP run in the NCAA's.
