Random Thoughts 18: The Year of Fire

I watched the Amazon movie Saltburn. It's gotten a lot of buzz and has a 7.1 on IMDB.
It's a real piece of garbage. Then I went to the IMDB user reviews. The majority agree with me.

Doesn't sound interesting to me. I've heard that movie Poor Things is good, but there's not much promotion around it, probably because it's basically nrop from what I've read.

It was. They've quietly moved away from that for a lot of orders.
Honestly I find that I get next day delivery more than I get anything more than 2 days. Sometimes some random thing I'll order will be available for overnight delivery and it'll be on my doorstep when I wake up, I'm not quite sure how that's even possible half the time.

I get those, too. I just consider it all random anymore.

I have a warehouse 5 miles from me but nothing ever comes from there. I'm not convinced it's an actual Amazon facility.

Just talked with police of course I got no pictures of her car with license plate number. It's the adult daughter of our neighbor. She claimed see was here to clean I called my mom who is Arizona she said no such thing. Garbage bag outside our house I kept which she said was already there which was a lie. It was full of stuff from all over our house including some antique doll stuff of my moms.

My wife is going/won a trip to a sales conference near Monarch Beach, CA in May. We're thinking about extending it for a couple of days. We can fly out of anywhere in SoCal. We've only been to the Palm Springs and San Diego areas. I'd rather not get a car but that's probably wishful thing. Any suggestions on areas to stay for a couple of days?
