Al the teams we needed to lose this week have lost. Illinois just lost, Wisconsin lost. We should be ranked tenth or better
If we are #9 I am predicting a loss at Cincy.
How are IL & WI ranked ahead of us with similar records playing in a watered down big10?
I know metrics 'love' Wisconsin but they have no business being ranked at all now losing four in a row, three to not very good or flat out awful teams.
They should drop totally out of the rankings, 4 L's in a row and ones this week were to Michigan and a beat down courtesy of Rutgers.

Shows how bad all the ranking systems are. The metrics ones don't take into wins/loss/eye test enough and the human ones are popularity based. All lean WAY too heavily on pre-season rankings, even 3 months later.

Hate this mentality! I know it’s somewhat of a joke, but some legitimately don’t want it. Any ranking, let alone a top 10 ranking, is a welcoming sight!
