Haines really worked Franek, that was indeed impressive. Woods was never close to scoring on Bartlett. I thought Rathjen looked pretty good though. Ayala needs to get off his freaking knees, he was always known for his attack rate/offense coming up but he’s a stall machine now.
It’s just amazing how much better they are than everyone else. It’s always going to be a battle for 2nd.
Gotta love the way Messenbrink wrestles but man he throws some wild shots out there lol. He is definitely a threat, but I can’t help but see Keegan or David picking him apart on counters right now.
Hamiti / Messenbrink need to hit at Big 10s. That might be the most electric match possible.
Gibbons is so technically solid.
Well see keuter kerk it looks like. Hawks getting rode a lot and getting a couple home calls.
Kueter just too small against Kerk. Was buried on the mat and out horsed on both takedowns.
I was told by a Hawk fan before the season that Kueter would beat Yonger..
I don’t think the final result changes much even if Iowa didn’t have the gambling issues and landed Ferrari. I’d still take Truax over Assad, Brooks over Ferrari, and Kerk over Cass. If anything, Iowa got lucky Penn state lost SVN for the year and were forced to wrestle their backup freshman at 149
