Having alcohol problems isn't the same as drinking and driving.
GTFO dude. Having a drinking problem makes it way more likely you'll do something stupid like drive drunk. JFC this isn't hard. There is a reason why people with alcohol problems usually have been arrested for multiple drinking offenses.

Yep. One DUI is a mistake. Multiple is indicative that he has a problem.
I know plenty of addicts who find alternate means of transport who don't have billionaire sons.
Probably a non story 50 weeks out of the year. Since it happened before the SB the media was going to run with it.
And I’d wager you know plenty more that do not find alternative means.
Good for them. I can tell you the deeper you get into addiction your level of "***** given" goes way down.

Not finding another ride 3+ times and likely probably 100s of times does.
My point is you can be an addict and also responsible. Having health issues doesn't mean you can opt out of societal norms.
Rural Iowa is full of drunk drivers. It's part of the culture.
It's a ****** culture, but it doesn't mean they're ****** people.
I had 3 myself and was only charged with 2(used differed judgement on 1). I made terrible decisions all the time at the height of my addiction. When you drink alcohol you generally arent thinking straight. If you have an alcohol problem you usually arent thinking much at all. You're a smart guy, you should know this.
