***2023-24 Mens College Basketball Thread***

I'm pretty confident we'd put up a better fight in Lawrence than this game.

It's possible. The only part that's shocking to me is how easily Kansas is handling the boards. When Kansas moves the ball like this, Rebounds, and hits open shots they are tough to beat.

But man, do they lack a floor leader. Harris is always a candidate for "most overrated player in the Big 12" award but this year he truly is terrible. Missinf shots, passing up open looks, turning thr ball over, and not controlling the floor.

Furphy really changes that team. They just need to get consistency out of Adams and Harris and keep their bench of the floor. It's shocking how bad their bench is. Braun and Timberlake wouldn't even see the floor at Okie St. They are Terrible.

Kansas State ever since Tang lost his composure at Hilton

Houston forced 9 turnovers and only 4 points off them.

The sentiment is generally against losing the round robin schedule, and I know we generally play better in the Phog than most teams do...

BUT I'll trade having a one-off at home vs Kansas for a one-off @ Baylor any day.

Its basically been a wash recently though.

In the last 10 games we've won 1 game in both places.

This is good for anyone hoping to stay in the race for #1. Houston takes this one and they’d be hard to catch.

Basically this.

I think Houston will return the favor at home. KU will miss more shots, Houston will smoke then on the boards, get more transition opps and put backs, and win easily.

We need this game tonight. It's winnable and puts us in a good spot the rest of the way, especially if we can hold serve at home.

Houston didn't force much in the way of TOs, KU simply got sloppy. Obviously Shead blew that one layup, but KUs benefitted from many of their turnovers being OB. It eliminated the transition opportunities and allows tbe defense to reset.

I think Houston has a good run in them. KU will miss some shots and I can't see Houston being this bad on the boards in the 2nd.

How does Dickinson constantly get away with the high elbow on the "block outs"? ******* ridiculous.
