***2023-24 Mens College Basketball Thread***

Houston's offense hasn't been able to do much against KU. Houston guards are great of course but I think KU is exposing their lack of size, they are having a real hard time getting clean shots off.

Kansas has the Phog cooking early.
While I do think Houston is the better team I don't know if they're totally prepared for the better B12 environments. That shouldn't be surprising with the step up from the ACC venues.
Houston did eventually adjust and made it a game Hilton, curious to see if they gained from that and can a bit make this a game.

I don't know how complicated you want it to be. BUT these teams with the road wins also have losses at home. I don't get your point?
I guess Kansas only has 1 road win so far also. It just seems like some of these middling teams are getting road wins right now so I'm worried about things evening out towards the end of the year when we are clearly better than teams like Texas and TCU.

Life on the road in the Big 12: Houston legit looks bad.

That's not an overstatement. They obviously aren't bad, but if you'd never seen them before today... you would think they simply don't belong in this league.

Hope we can avoid another BYU today, but it happens. It's frustrating, but it's just a fact of life in the Big 12.

Furphy might have the highest basketball IQ in the Big 12. Kid plays hard and always seems to be doing exactly what he should be doing.

Someone needs to shut the hag yelling "rebound" up. Good lord.

This is going to happen to Houston once in a while. They still struggle to score and offensively they aren’t skilled, so you throw up these bombs sometimes. Sometimes you still need to score regardless how good your d is.

They are excellent, but they are far from dominant.
