Baylor is favored by 4.5 tonight at home versus Texas. Texas will be without freshman star Madison Booker after she injured her hamstring.

Not sure who winning is best for us. Maybe Baylor since we have played them and beat them.

What's up with teams being low on players? A couple of extra schollys can't cost that much. Even if you only fill 11 schollys (instead of 15) and have terrible luck and 3 players are injured/ineligible. That still leaves 8 to compete. Maybe Zona is just looking for practice bodies?

Is Gaston still out too?
With all the injuries since Vic took over, what do you think that is about? Most have been in games,

I think she is. Bad luck. Seeing peeps on the interweb chattering about blaming AAU, fitness coaches, coaches and just about everybody for the seemingly high rate of injuries across NCAA this season but I think a lot of it is just bad luck.

Saw this saying Gaston and Booker are day-to-day so maybe that hamstring for Booker isn't a bad one.

EDIT: Booker and Gaston are playing

Booker playing. Texas looks athletic. Going to be blue collar v white collar when we play them. They have a big post (not overly impressed, but she’s big. Booker is def hurting.

Hard fought game in Waco. Texas totally deserved the win though. Played hard and hurt.

Texas maybe dodged another injury when Moore went down grabbing her braced knee. She came back into the game but was limping as was Booker who left the game to get her hamstring stretched.

You know what’s really unfortunate about all of the media attention solely going to Clark? JuJu Watkins (USC freshmen) is having one hell of a season and living up to the hype. She dropped 51 last night to upset No. 4 Stanford.

She’s averaging more points than Clark her first year and averages a little over 7 rebounds and 3 assists per game too. She plays on the west coast, so it doesn’t help, but I happened to catch the game last night and damn is she fun to watch.

The real question is: Does she whine and question every call? Can't be America's darling unless you do that.

This has a lot to do with the PAC 12's network failure. Almost all of her games are only on PAC 12 TV which means almost no one not west coast has seen her play. Same goes for Alissa Pilli, Utah's state, no one sees her because of the PAC 12 deal. There are still WBB fans who don't even know who Pilli is. Watkins will go head to head with ND's Hannah Hidalgo for hype and PR next year once USC get's into the Big Ten.

Several of us follow her. I have since 2022. I just don't like to compare them because I don't follow the other if I can avoid it.
